Rich Hartnell Remembered After Fatal Motorcycle Accident During Ohio Bikeweek Work Trip In Sandusky
Rich Hartnell died while working out of town at Ohio Bikeweek in Sandusky, Ohio, after a road crossing incident involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
Rodney Jensen created a fundraiser on June 3, 2026, to support Rich Hartnell’s family, with $4,130 raised toward a $9,000 goal through 25 donations.
Rich shared 30 years of marriage with Jamie Lynn, and together they raised their child, Jacob, while building a life centered on family, work, and dedication.
The fundraiser states that Rich served as the family’s primary provider, and the support will help with transportation back to Wisconsin, memorial costs, and immediate needs for Jamie Lynn and Jacob.
Rodney Jensen described Rich as generous, hardworking, and loyal, after more than 20 years of friendship through Harley Davidson, Skully Customs, and motorcycle rallies across the country.
The family expects to announce memorial service details soon in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
