Mujeeb spent recent years in Houston while building a life far from family and working to support loved ones in Afghanistan.
Miraj Zazai organized a fundraiser from Houston, Texas, created on June 3, 2026, to help return Mujeeb to Afghanistan and assist with funeral, burial, and family needs.
The campaign had raised $1,750 toward an $18,000 goal through 19 donations at the time of the post.
Mujeeb’s family, who reside in Afghanistan, requested that Mujeeb be laid to rest among relatives and loved ones according to their wishes and traditions.
