Gabriela Lujan Olivares, who identified themselves as Hector’s big sister, created a memorial fundraiser on June 3, 2026, to help with funeral expenses.
The fundraiser, titled “Help Lay Hector Olivares to Rest,” had raised $1,240 toward a $3,000 goal through 16 donations, with donations paused.
Gabriela shared that any remaining funds would be set aside for Hector’s daughter as the family moves through this difficult time.
Loved ones described the effort as a way to honor Hector’s memory and provide a peaceful farewell surrounded by care and respect.
