Aaliyah Copeland, 25, of Henderson, North Carolina, passed away on May 31, 2026, after a life that began on March 6, 2001.
Family, friends, and extended loved ones now honor Aaliyah’s memory with condolences, flowers, candles, and shared support through Alight Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC.
Aaliyah was preceded in death by father Kenneth Copeland, nephews Marcus Stuckey, Jr. and Samir Stuckey, and grandmothers Denise Stuckey and Teresa Copeland.
Aaliyah is survived by mother Shirl Stuckey, siblings Marcus Stuckey, Elijah Stuckey, Tyleiah Edwards, and Zahkeyah Copeland, niece Malaysia Stuckey, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM, at Alight Funeral & Cremation Services, 549 S William St, Henderson, NC 27536.
A service will follow there on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with burial at Blacknall Cemetery.
