Richard Hartnell, a 56-year-old person from Kenosha, Wisconsin, died late on June 2, 2026, after a pedestrian crash on U.S. Route 250 in Erie County, Ohio.

The incident happened around 10:10 p.m. near Fox Road in Huron Township, where authorities said Hartnell was attempting to cross the highway.

Officials reported that a northbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle struck Hartnell, and moments later a Toyota RAV4 traveling on the roadway also struck Hartnell.

Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Hartnell was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that the case remained under investigation on June 3, 2026, as officials worked to understand the full sequence of events.
